Jac is a registered psychotherapist and counsellor with a breadth of experience in providing support and psychological services to adolescents, adults, couples and families. She established her private practice ‘Beanstalk’ in 2013 on Sydney’s northern beaches, with additional premises on the north shore. Jac specializes in adolescent development, anxiety/stress, depression, parenting concerns and the promotion of mindfulness.

Jac attended Macquarie University and transferred to Deakin University due to relocation to Atlanta, GA, earning a BA majoring in psychology. Following graduation, Jac was a resident in the UK and undertook a B Sc (Hons) in psychology, graduating and gaining membership to the British Psychological Society (MBPsS). Jac was engaged as a corporate behavioural psychologist in London, for one of the world’s largest environmental waste companies, working both within the QHSE area and also providing psychotherapeutic support for employees.

Upon return to Australia, Jac completed her Masters, in psychotherapy and counselling. Since graduating with her Masters, Jac has developed social and emotional learning (SEL) programmes for adolescents which she delivers privately, and within school environments. Jac also volunteers her skills in the wider community, mentoring teen mums through the RAISE Foundation’s “BUMP” programme, and co-faciltiating programmes and camps with the cancer charity, CanTeen.
